TerraZero20
Now, this might seem like a silly question but I'm currently in the middle of planning a Night Lords warband just to use to have fun and play around with at my local gaming club. One of the things I'd like to do is use the Forge World kits from the Night Lords legion. Now I haven't had any practice with Forge World and resin kits to begin with so this will be a starting point for me. What I'd like to know is how easily compatible the Forge World shoulder pads are with the plastic kits? I remember reading a few years ago that the shoulder pads could be used with the GW kits, but that was before the release of the MKII, MKIII, MKIV and MKV shoulder pads. Grotsmasha
They are all completely compatible, you will just need to use super glue rather than plastic glue. TerraZero20
Ah that's good to know, thanks Jono Deathspectre: I will have to look into that. The MKIII are pretty cool shoulder pads so I think I will use them in the army. Atia
yep, they are all compatible (althought mark III parts seems a little bit bigger/heavier than normal parts, keep that in mind^^) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313396-forge-world-shoulder-pads-and-plastic-kits/#findComment-4166169 Share on other sites
TerraZero20
I've heard that the parts are bigger than the others. I'm going to Warhammer world in October for the day so hopefully I'll get a closer look at the MKIII models. I'll have some to work with other models. While I'm going to use the Night Lord Forge World kits, I do intend to use the upgrade kit from the GW website so at least I can keep busy. Slips
Just note that Mk II and FW Mk IV Legs and Mk II Arms tend to be slimmer than their Plastic Counterparts.
