Frater Cornelius
My personal favourite is the Acheron. It solves the problem of cover. Other than that, the Lancer would be useful in your setup in order to hunter other Knights or GC like the Wraithknight. The Acheron is more of a generalist, while the Lancer is a specialist. Kaspar
Thanks for the quick response! I see the flame template from the Acheron is great. But what is about the 8 twin-linked shots from the Castigor bolt cannon??? EmilSVB
I run 4 knights.Errant, Crusader and Magaera. With thouse I then run the Lancer. It's great for hunting other titans and characters. My only problem with it is that I find it to specialised. It can hit in close combat, and thats that.Does not change that I like the list :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313415-cerastus-knights/#findComment-4166509 Share on other sites
Frater Cornelius
Castigator has the problem of only having one gun. You either waste it by not shooting or you potentially ruin your charge. The Acheron has two guns. The Lancer only has one gun, but it is meant to knock an enemy GC or MC down to I1 as opposed to killing it. Tiger9gamer
Castigator has the problem of only having one gun. EDIT: Disregard this bit of information, as I was told wrong by my fellows at the game store and have been mislead. I'm sorry! Yea but that doesn't matter. 7th edition rules state that superheavies can charge what they want wether or not they shot at the target of said charge. Pretty sure it only states that a SHW or GC can charge any one of the targets it shot at during shooting.
