Hey peeps,

I thought I would share the progress of my Dark Angels army here. So far I have only painted and modelled around 3500 points of deathwing. I have a few other models which still need some tlc. More photos to come but here's a shot of the whole lot thus far

A very impressive looking Deathwing Force! Lots of smashy DWK's but only one set from Dark Vengeance? Now that is commitment! Keep up the great work!

Commitment? I think the photos of each squad below will show a whole different level of commitment!

The first squad of Knights

Needless to say this involved lost of magnets and lots of spare arms to be painted. Don't think I'll be doing that again!

Thanks for all the close ups.  Was going to ask for a few but you beat me to it.  Your level of dedication to the Deathwing far surpasses what expected!  I can only imagine the time it took to magnetize and paint all of the arms!  Great work on the land raiders too.  The weathering looks phenomenal!

Loving that MoR on the Chaplain - surprised we don't see more of that little conversion. May I steal it please?

Of course you can steal it. I thought it was so simple I'm surprised it's not be about more!

My chaplain is resin but to get the pad off I basically destroyed the upper arm by clipping it Al the elbow and then just filed it down with a dremell drill. The same principles would apply to metal, it'll just take longer.
