Marshal Rohr
You already have it. Sigismund is an HQ, and 20 Brethren are 2 troops in armies led by Sigismund. Lord Blackwood
What do you think I should be looking to add to the army? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313716-how-do-i-proceed/#findComment-4172463 Share on other sites
Marshal Rohr
The real question is are you going for theme or are you looking for a winning list. I'm only good for theme. Lord Blackwood
I guess somewhere inbetween sticking to a Templar theme but still capable of not just losing every game Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313716-how-do-i-proceed/#findComment-4172507 Share on other sites
jeremy1391
Siggy with 10 Templars in a spartan with a promise medicae and a chaplain bombing down the throat of your foe.... Thematic and effective! Or a 20 man despoiler squad in a spartan with Siggy and a chaplain with an apothecary.... Drown your foes in a deluge of sword wielding maniacs! Marshal Loss
The main thing you are going to need first are some transports for the Templars, so they can get into combat faster & more reliably. Spartan is the king but can only take one squad + assorted HQ's. jeremy1391
The Spartan is far superior than a normal land raider due to many reasons, base cost isn't much higher than a normal land raider, and has a 25 man capacity, which in HH makes for an efficient means to offloading a powerful combat unit such as a full Templar squad with Siggy and characters (this gets very expensive) or a full 20 man tactical squad with apothecary and Siggy (who makes them initiative 5 on the charge and let's them reroll charge range and sweeping advances!) Plus there is the flare shield... Which greatly increases the survivability from any AOD era weapon.
