Kodiak599
Hey folks, so when i started 40k in 5th edition, I started Grey Knights because they are the elite of the elite. I am a sucker for power armor, and being able to field less units but accomplish more always appealed to me. I got out of the hobby for a few years, but now with 7th edition I am getting back into it. I plan on buying 1 unit (or model) every 2 weeks and painting it. Adding it to this thread as I go. I finished my first NDK after about 15-20 hours of painting (Gold is a pain to paint properly). Without further rambling from me, I present to you Nemesis Dread Knight - Brother Ezekiel http://imgur.com/a/jFn3c PS - I can't figure out how to get the picture to link directly in the forum post. Help with that would be appreciated! Kodiak599
my goal with the basing is to have it look like Titan. I googled images of it, with it being a frozen methane moon and all. And though about how it would look. White crackle paint, and light blue drybrushing. Really like the way it turned out Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313778-starting-grey-knights-again-progress-and-painting-thread/#findComment-4173904 Share on other sites
jeffersonian000
I went with basing that (attempts to) look like my GK are arriving by Teleporter, with swirling golds over chaos-ie pinks and oranges. Still working on it, not satisfied with the effect, yet. Might try a dusting of crushed glass.
