casb1965
They are easy to destroy, but at 65 points a model, anything deep striking in order to kill them costs as much as 2 of them at least, if not more. But not so easy if you put them behind a wall/barricade/defense line, bolster it with your allied techmarine and throw on a camo net to get a 2+ cover save :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313816-wyvrens-so-good-are-they-really-that-good/page/2/#findComment-4183079 Share on other sites

But not so easy if you put them behind a wall/barricade/defense line, bolster it with your allied techmarine and throw on a camo net to get a 2+ cover save Incredibly situational and unreliable. For a vehicle to be obscured, 25% of it, not counting guns, antennae, crew, etc, so basically the hull and the turret, has to be invisible to the firer. Sure, at that point, you're boosted from a 5+ to a 2+, but if you don't get the 25%, you get nothing but a 6+ for the camo net...blech! It's not hard to find an elevated firing position or get to the flank of the linear cover obstacle...to say nothing of fliers not being obstructed at all! My preferred solution is to park a pair of wyverns on top of a skyshield behind pasquisher and his wingman...4++ for the win!
