Karchev
The Ordo Reductor section of the HH Mechanicum book lists the Medusa as an option for the artillery battery. On the same page is a section labelled "Ordo Reductor Artillery Tank Weapons". In that window it lists using the Medusa with normal round and with Phosphex rounds. As there is no option to purchase the Phosphex rounds as an upgrade do we assume that they can just use phosphex rounds automatically? Brofist
Nice find. I think there's precedence here that, yes, you can automatically elect to use Phosphex rounds for free. Thudd Guns got a similar stealth buff a few books ago. There's also no option, like you said. Last, the Magos Reductor can carry Phoshex bombs like the Legion Consul that unlocks Phosphex Medusas. Reductor is known for their specialized artillery after all. Caillum
It's interesting actually. In a LA army with a Siege Breaker, you can choose to EXHANGE normal shells for Phosphex shells for your Medusae. It's one or the other. What I'm trying to figure out is this - can Ordo Reductor Medusae shoot either, any time, or do you have to decide when you write the list? You may be right Bulbafist about them just getting both, especially given the theme, but who knows? Brofist
Agreed, its a good one! I would permit it, personally, as it means people might actually use Phosphex rounds Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/313890-ordo-reductor-medusa-rules/#findComment-4179029 Share on other sites
