Oh actually I didnt know the order and the time of the books! That enlight a few things XD thanks Kol(can I call you Kol?) smile.png also I have to consider that bl books are just narration of the writer point of view, where Fw books are there to provide a (very good) insight of each legion and primarch...how lucky that McNeill likes Iron Warrios tongue.png

I wouldn't call that luck.

Yeah, everyone calls me Kol from time to time lol.

But yeah, that is a perfect way to look at the background. One other thing I'd keep in mind is that the FW while much more expansive in what they show, they're more like history books. The view isn't complete, because it is a summary of all these other, smaller views.

I don't know which books you have read so I won't give anything away, but the Emperors Children are not the only ones following their own agenda. Even the Chaos gods are vying with each other to become the most powerful.

Angel Exterminatus shows that the organisational structure of the legion is breaking down as each marine follows his own path to experience. This will eventually lead to them becoming a group of individuals under no command authority. Why doesn't Fulgrim care? Because he has gotten what he wants and so doesn't care about anything else.
