Prospero Will Burn

The cover of Prospero Burns looks more like smashed marble or blocks of white stone rubble. Nice work so far, we need waaaay more Vlka Fenryka threads here.

This is really what I'm leaning towards, when reading both Prospero and sons I pictured them fighting on white or pails slabs or block walkways between the pyramids

To me these feel like more of a grey armor than metallic plate

I have to say that I'd actually love to see metallic wolves! If you are looking for a more greyed out steel, try mixing in some gry like Standard Mechanicus Grey or Dark Reaper into it (Depending if you want a pidgeon-blue tint to it). Keep it up biggrin.png

Do you happen to know the equivalents in vallejo air may be. I won't be starting any real models until prospero drops so i have a longggggg while to find a scheme i like. Any and all input helps so i certainly appreciate it!

Saw this thread, but your first pictures have disappeared sad.png

Either that or there is a dedicated page on dakkadakka.

Nice to hopefully see some more Wolves up in here. Not too many of us around

i like the look of that. how are you doing your rust spots on the rivets? looks great. just a wash?

this is actually my second time with weathering powders. It is called track rust. I dabbed it around the rivets then used rubbing alcohol and pulled straight down from the rivets.

Nocely done.

Is it leadbelcher with a wash of nuln oil?

Actually no. There is no wash at all on this.

It is based black. Then hit with vallejo medium grey, then lightly sprayed with vallejo burnt iron. Then the brass reds and rust
