Theredknight
So I decided to do my primus as fabius, also thinking of chopping bits off and converting the 40k model to 30k. Mk4 arnour and EC bling. I think that he did have it, but that it wasn't attached constantly, like the 40k version. Am I right there? Fire Golem
I'm pretty sure he has it, or at least a device like it. I remember it in Angel Exterminatus (98% sure I do...) AlphariusOmegon108
He does have it yes, it tells about how he fixes someone up with extra mechanical arms and wires and tendrils that come from his back. Most of them snapping and moving as if they have their own life. Theredknight
Yeah I remember him putting it on for a surgical procedure, 'a bit like a tech marines servo arm' Do you think he'd have it on the battlefield to do things? jumping goat
In Angel Exterminatus he is well and truly the Fabius we know and love. It was never mentioned what he carried to battle so I would leave his wonderful miniature unconverted. His xyclos needler and rod of torment could count as needle pistol and power maul. Atia
Yeah I remember him putting it on for a surgical procedure, 'a bit like a tech marines servo arm' Do you think he'd have it on the battlefield to do things? probably yes ^^ Fabius was pretty much described like his 40k model in the later novels afaik Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314583-fabius-and-the-chirugeon/#findComment-4190519 Share on other sites
Theredknight
I'm sure he was using it in eidolons later 'procedure' and when he 'helped' honourable soulaka. Id like to put it on there, but there is artwork of fabius, he doesn't have it, but he has a banner, loincloth and a narthecium. Plus 40k fabius just doesn't look quite... Gaunt and skeletal enough. Any suggestions? I'm already thinking of a Maru skara champ involving a sigvald the magnificent model. Theredknight
Luckily eidy has a lovely model which I have yet to assemble (it's my treat from scenery and base painting) Yes perhaps your right, backpack it is! Itl be fun to do. He looks to uncorrupted in that picture. I'm not sure what head will do him justice il have a trawl through the fantasy range for that.
