RedwaKe
In galaxy in flames, Angron is described (by Loken iirc) as being huge, easily as tall as horus but with broader shoulders. Lord Khammon
In galaxy in flames, Angron is described (by Loken iirc) as being huge, easily as tall as horus but with broader shoulders. In Betrayer (the HH book 1) it's also said that Angron is physicaly stronger than many of his fellow Primarchs. DuskRaider
I believe it's said he's almost as tall as Lhorke, the Contemptor. I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure it's stated. Hat of Raylan Givens
I actually quite dig the idea of Angron being short. Sort of gives him that Wolverine-esque vibe of a short but stocky scrapper who makes up for it with bad attitude. Dantay VI
Either that or Angron suffers from little man syndrome.. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314628-primarch-size-comparison/page/2/#findComment-4193216 Share on other sites
Fire Golem
I actually quite dig the idea of Angron being short. Sort of gives him that Wolverine-esque vibe of a short but stocky scrapper who makes up for it with bad attitude. Me too. I always remember him as being one of the shorter Primarchs but I don't know where I've got that from. Knight of the Raven
Great. This discussion about Angron being short made me picture him without the Butcher's Nails to be space Napoleon. And that's coming from someone who thinks making Bonaparte short in media is the very picture of being a tool. Â I HOPE YOU'RE ALL PROUD OF YOURSELVES. Blckbuster
I never been able to think of Angron without associated him with the Hulk, the huge comic book representations, I may just have a limited imagination. Brother Heinrich
This is how Angron will always exist in my mind: Â http://pre04.deviantart.net/2eca/th/pre/f/2014/064/5/4/angron_by_alexboca-d7930i6.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314628-primarch-size-comparison/page/2/#findComment-4193856 Share on other sites
Marshal Reinhard
How do they compare in size with terminators? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314628-primarch-size-comparison/page/2/#findComment-4193906 Share on other sites
Phoebus
Primarchs are larger still. Â Remember, Primarchs are, generally speaking, to Astartes as Astartes are to normal men. As Space Marines have been described as ranging from 7.5 feet (some of the older concept art) to over eight feet tall (if Garviel Loken is actually 2.5 meters tall), that would make Primarchs truly huge. Naryn
For what it's worth, I took Perturabo off his huge Imperial Knight base, and he's almost exactly two Space Hulk Terminators tall. Â He comes up to the helmet of my Contemptor. Fenbain
Magnus, Vulkan and Mortarion are supposedly the three physically largest primarchs I believe. Though that doesn't take into about armour and the Logos is basically a walking tank.
