Hey there,

My name is Alan i am from Scotland and i am a Gameaholic.

Being 37 my mum and misses hoped i would have grown out if toys, but i find i just have more money for them now.

I have been playing 40k since Rogue Trade in the early 90's on and off.  So many different army's, marines, orks, nids, all gone now.

So last year after about a 3 year break i met up with an old friend, that i used to play 40k with at School, and what would you know the old spark was still there.

I now have about 5000pts of Space Wolves and 4 Imperial Knights.

I have a few of the other games, Blood bowl, Space Hulk, Assassin game, Dreadfleet, and about to start Warhammer Conquest which i am very much looking forward to.

As the Wolves are very close to all being painting i am in the Market for a new force, 30k is really catching my eye with so many nice models, and the books are really adding to the game. (almost as much as the prices)

I am totally struggling to pick a force to build and play, but i will find the break through somehow.

anyway enough from here, the forum is amazing, and i hope i can add something to it.

All the Best

Al

Hello guys

I know what you feel, I'm 30 and my wife think that I started "playing toys" because of middle age crisis lol.

I live in Bo'ness too but I don't have much experience in 40k. I'm at the stage of completing tau army (about 2k but stormsurge and ghostkeel already ordered) and reading trough rulebook, codex. I thinking about visit in Falkirk games club cause I'm off every sunday, monday. Is there a lot of folks playing 40k or warmachine?

Hey there,

There is a club in Grangemouth on a monday and sunday,  i used to go down to it, but with the misses working its hard to get down.

I go to Falkirk Games Club, which is held in the Mill inn near the college on a thursday night, normally from about 4pm till about 11pm.

The Grangemouth club, i am not sure how much 40k they play as its been awhile since i have been down.  I know they play a lot of Historical Games, FOW and stuff like that.

The Falkirk Club play Warmachine, 40k, 30k, Conquest, and a vary of board games.

Would be good to see you there one night
