march10k
Right...every model in base gets HoW...generally, if you have four or more models in base with one another (even in a line), you have majority toughness 5. If you have three models and are on defense, you might be lucky enough to pyramid up and retain T5... It's possible, but challenging, to achieve this, though...you'll never find an opportunity to reform into a triangle after melee is joined, but if you set up with two in back and three in front, all in base, in preparation to receive a charge, you can sometimes engineer things so that the charging enemy has models that lap around to get into base with the guys in back, at least one of them anyway, so you can then manage your casualties such that the last three men standing form a pyramid....but your knights should be slaughtering everything in their path, lol...no need for such planning Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314798-dwk-vs-dwcs/page/2/#findComment-4196295 Share on other sites
