Just so you know, You're making pretty much no use out of the Stone Gauntlet while also being Illegal due to breachers not being your Compulsory Troops.

You'd also be unable to Deepstrike anything since thats one of the Restrictions.

Beyond that, a Simple Swap of a RoW or just not running one and your list would be ok enough.

Well, I don't know if you're actually intending to run Stone Gauntlet in the 2nd list, but it's missing the 2 compulsory Breacher Squads, so it's illegal. You also won't be able to Deep Strike those Terminators.

Don't want to be too negative, but I think the lists need a bit of work mate. Big points games will open up Super-heavies, which will rip apart the army - you have lots of power-armoured bodies and nothing to shut down a Super-heavy.

Have you bought all of this stuff already? That's a massive buy-in! :)

I'd remove the 5 Man Terminator Squad. They're liable to getting erased on the turn they drop in and their bodies are too low at this points level.

Next, would be the 10 man Tac Squad with Extra CCW.

That should free up ~513 Points. A Fellblade is 525 so 12 Points needs to get dropped from somewhere.

I'd say Extra Armor on the Contemptor and Swapping the Plasma Blaster to another Graviton Gun to free up another 5 Points for a total of 15.

List should have 2 points over.  However, you'll want to at least give it the Legion Space Marine Crew Upgrade meaning another 15pts to get freed up. Armored Ceramite depends on whether or not you're expecting Melta. If you are, absolutely cut out more upgrades for it such as Dozer Blades. But, at this point, it starts really getting hard to trim down.

Agreed. If you want, you could drop the Phalanx Warders instead of the Terminators, as they're a massive points sink. They'd be ok if you were running Stone Gauntlet, but without it... :/

This would allow a lot more flexibility with where the points go - some storm shields for the Terminators, Armoured Ceramite, Legion Crew, etc. would all be well within reach then!

Hes better off Rolling with Sigismund. He gives no real buffs for shooting and is More of a Combat Character. Being able to swing his Power Fist at initiative (+1 if you charge in Sigismunds Unit) can potentially make or break an assault. He also has a 3++ that you can use to tank with. And, if they get hit by non Ap3 Templates, he can tank those on his armor and re-roll failed Saves.

Being S5 (S10 Power Fist) means that he can ID even T5 Units that aren't Eternal Warrior.

Though, Ideally, you'd use him in a Zone Mortalis Game with Phalanx Warders because:

  • Polux and Warders get Charged (this is preferable for the unit, actually)
  • Gain +1 Initiative due to Phalanx Warder Rules
  • Perform a Reaction Fire Test (initiative Test) at I5. If you succeed, Overwatch at Full BS (5, most likely with Bolters but give the Squad Plasma Guns too for more punch).
  • If the Charging Unit gets in, they gain no Benefits (Defensive Grenades)
  • Polux Swings Back first with his Power Fist at initiative if you want (he and the sarge are forced to challenge anyways)
  • Non-Axe'd Warders Strike Back at I5
  • Survivors Strike back at I 4-2
  • Your Axe Warders Strike Last alongside Any Unwieldy Survivors.

on an Open Table game, such a situation isn't really possible so you lose a lot of what makes the Phalanx Warders a Strong Specialist Unit, sadly.

I'd remove the 5 Man Terminator Squad. They're liable to getting erased on the turn they drop in and their bodies are too low at this points level.

If you drop the phalanx Warders and for 5 points less you could have 8 plasma gunners (artificer on Sgt) in a rhino with a dozer blade. I think that doing this swap makes more sense than keeping the warders
