Compressor recommendations for EU

Hi all,

After seeing all the great work some US based friends are doing with airbrushes and looking at the unpainted vehicles and Thanatars on my desk it's time to bite the bullet.

I've gotten recommendations for IWATA  Medea Eclipse - gravity fed brush and IWATA Ninja compressor.

Sadly getting them in my new home in Austria looks to be quite expensive and I'm shopping around for some alternatives.

For brush I'm considering the Harder and Steenbeck Ultra or Harder and Steenbeck Evolution

For a compressor I'm at a bit of a loss.

I really don't need anything super powerful but need a solid workhorse that ideally can be used quietly in at night in an apartment. Regulating pressure and capturing moisture would be a major +

I'm asking for EU recommendations as US compressors use different current.

Any insight anyone can share would be appreciated.

Thanks

I know that there are great compressors and kits out there, and you may want to reach for something higher spec, but personally I picked up a Foxhunter Compressor kit on eBay for £60 and it's been great.

Thanks!

Any thoughts on this

If you can stretch to the Evolution, do. The Ultra is okay for the price, but it's really bargain basement stuff that you'll probably want to replace eventually, while the Evolution will last you forever.

Only thing to note is that the Evolution Solo comes with a 0.2mm nozzle, which is fantastic for fine detail but not the most efficient choice if you're primarily working on tanks. You might want to pick up the 0.4mm nozzle set for it to make base coating faster and easier.
