noigrim
In the leviathan OC it says that the lord of destruction must be the warlord, but if you add in a primarch as another LoW in his description it says that he must be the primarch, what to do then? Gorgoff
Oh it's simple. You do that: Jump up and down go and move it all around Shake your head to the sound Put your hand on the ground Take one step left And one step right One to the front and one to the side Clap your hands once And clap your hands twice And if it looks like this Then you are doing it right ;) The Primarch is the warlord. Hesh Kadesh
You get to choose. The two rules are equally applicable, and equally specific. The most important rule of the 40K rulebook (literally, there's a box called "The Most Important Rule"; which states that "there are bound to be occasions where a situation is not covered by the rules... be prepared to Interpret a rule or come up with a suitable solution... [paraphrasing;] if not, roll off" This is irressistible force paradox here. Both state absolutes that directly infringe on one another. Bear in mind that you do not get Rites of War, and you cannot ally in Death Guard if you take Mortarion as the Lord of War, forcing the Leviathan to be Death Guard as well. noigrim
Well that solves it, they've said: Hi, Thank you for your email. If you use the optional Leviathan organisation chart, then you can't take a Primarch, as your Warlord has to be an Engine of Destruction.
