2k non-RoW Imperial Fists

I recently got my first 30k game and it was far more successful that I first thought. I was playing Pride with Sigismund, Templars, a few Tank and Thud Guns. However, I noticed that I had no real answer to higher AV and that the mix between static backfield elements and aggressive advance was not sitting well with me.

I decided to expand to the forward elements of said list. Here it goes:

Hidden Content

Sigismund

Primus Medicae - AA, Void Shield, Sol Fist, Combat Shield

7 Templar Brethren - 7 Combat Shields

1 Champion - Combat Shield, Sol Fist

Phobos - Dozer

15 Tacs - AA, Vexilla, MB

Apothecary

15 Tacs - AA, Vexilla, MB

Apothecary

Contemptor - 2 DCCW, 2 Grav

Contemptor - 2 DCCW, 2 Grav

Vindicator

2030pts

I need to shave a few points off to get it to 2k. The idea is to have the army advance forward to the mid field.. The Tacs are there for buffer, scoring and killing unimportant infantry. The Dreads can pressure high AV from an effective range of 24" while still be decent in melee. They can also slow down units by causing difficult terrain so that I can close in with them faster.. The Land Raider drives up the nearest problem zone and throws its Templars at it.

Note that I mainly play around 1850-2k and mainly against 40k armies, of which we have more than I care to count, mainly Xenos. Our 30k players only has two players who can play games beyond 1k.

Does the Harness not affect the Phobos as well? I face D weapons every once in a while and I would hate losing the Phobos T1 because of a Wraithknight. If the Harness does not affect the Phobos, I will drop it most likely.

No, I do not necessarily need both Contemptors. I was just thinking in terms of redundancy. I could add one set of Thud Guns instead of a Contemptor, sure. That way I would save 45pts and be on track once again.

Also, do you think it is worth looking at a Plasma Predator instead of a Vindicator?

Another option would be to involve Plasma Predators. What is the opinion on those in this List?

I also want to mitigate the risk of the Raider dying T1 to Grav spam and leaving the Templars stranded. Any ways of doing? Is the Dreadclae a viable alternative as a transport?
