Captain General
I doing a Baneblade in an urban gray mix camo pattern. What wash color (colors) should I use to bring out detail without "washing"/muting out the gray? GrandMagnus
If I understood that correctly I suggest you apply a black or even blue wash depending on the type of shade you might want into only the recesses. That way the grey won't be obscured and the details will pop out. I hope I explained that correctly :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/315106-urban-camo-wash/#findComment-4201948 Share on other sites
Father Mehman
If you want your Baneblade to look like it's seen some wear and tear or has just been driven around, I'd suggest using Agrax Earthshade and Typhus Corrosion in the recesses like GrandMagnus said. It'll make it look like road grime has gotten in between armour plates and around the rivets. Lucien Eilam
An oil wash of MIG Productions' Starship Filth would probably be perfect. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/315106-urban-camo-wash/#findComment-4201981 Share on other sites
