I Audemus, vow to create the 1905th Solar Auxilia Cohort, the ‘Rust Scorpions’, in the name of Lord Marshal Marcalius Audacter, by 6pm GMT on the Twentieth of November 2015. This I swear in the name of Grail, Terra, and the Imperium of Mankind!

Notable campaigns/battles: 

 

The 'Rust Scorpions' contain a very small contingent of Ash Scorpions who were evacuated due to serious wounds at the battle of Port Maw.  They formed the cadre of trainers which set about rebuilding their previous Cohort under the name 'Rust Scorpions.'

 

They are, as of this point in the fluff and on the table, untested in battle but eager to bring their Volkite weaponry to bear against the rebels.

Notable characters:

 

Lord Marshal Marcalius Audacter -  Rallied the men during the evacuation and then organized the restructuring of the Cohort.  His action could be questioned though, due to the fact he did not even attempt to contact the Imperium Military Upper Echelon until after he had trained more than a regiment of soldiers to stand behind him.  The shortage of men and the impending threat of the rebellion has so far staunched any questions into his judgment calls.
