TheForgottenAngel Posted October 22, 2015 Share Posted October 22, 2015 I've begun starting the acquisition for the 1st Legion! This list is my attempt at a combined arms army designed to put the pressure on early through the Command Squad with attached Praetor hunting infantry and gribblies. The Outrider squad will hunt after the TEQ and scary other things out there. The large tactical squads will have an apothecary attached to provide some much needed resilience and hold the mid field. Master of signal either stays with the gun carriages or going in the droppod with the Support Squad which will drop in on a midfield objective or in the enemy backfield to wreak havoc. The heavy support slots with 2 Sicarans and the Leviathon will be supporting fire for the two large infantry blobs. The leviathon will lumber up behind the infantry and will create those dangerous terrain blobs and provide overwatch (not ingame rule but real world reference) by creating deadzones and forcing avenues of approach. On the modeling front: I intend on mixing in the new upgrade kits primarily on the Sergeants and helmets on all the bikers. I'm unsure if the Calivers are the way to go for the drop pod but I thought if they didn't disembark they could fire at full BS. Even if not I feel that once they landed and held the objective it'd bea good little firebase that'd be hard to clear out. I'm trying to find a way to add in some volkite charger wielding Terminators to be featured as Dreadwing. Keep up the great work on your own force, they are stellar.
