Vash113 Posted October 24, 2015 Share Posted October 24, 2015 So I've been working on a display board for my Space Wolves for a month or so, for no other reason than that I had an idea and figured I should roll with it. I had no idea Armies on Parade was today until I stopped by my local GW thursday to pick up an order. With the board assembled and ready for paint I figured I might as well try to get it done. Frankly, it's not done, it's at about 90-95% with a number of small details yet to finish, washes on the metals and some other details I want to add. Even so I brought the board out for armies on parade and put a small selection of my favorite wolves on display. I was surprised to find that my army came in second and I took home a silver medal for my wolves! Oh and did I forget to mention that the wolves eyes light up red and the display howls and roars at the push of a button? I salvaged that from the hot-wheels set I got the wolf heads from and built the electronics into the back of the board, fun stuff. Maybe we should do something on the board to help people prepare for next year's armies on parade? Like one of the pack expansion events or something?
