Terminus
Looking for a new modeling project, and the Word Bearers are calling to me. Trying to put 2000 points around Zardu. Here goes: HQ: Zardu, The Crimson Apostle - 175 Troops 1: 8 Ashen Circle - 285 Dark Channeling, 1x power axe Iconoclast with Artificer Armour, power axe, melta-bombs Troops 2: 8 Ashen Circle - 285 as above Elites 1: 7 Gal Vorbak Dark Brethren - 300 pts2x power swords, Martyr with twin-LCs Elites 2: Contemptor Dreadnought (using Mhara Gal model) - 280Chainfist, 2 graviton guns, dreadnought pod Heavy Support: Spartan Assault Tank with Flare Shield/Armoured Ceramite - 340Heavy Support: Deredeo Dreadnought with Anvilus/Aiolos - 220Heavy Support: Whirlwind Scorpius - 115 2000 points on the nose I worry about the low body-count, so it would be up to Zardu to summon some daemon friends to help. At larger point values I'd add more bodies, allied Tzeench daemons to strengthen the summoning game, and an appropriate Lord of War (Typhon if I ever get one, but for now more likely the Knight Atropos). WolfOfHorus
Daemon summoning is a lot of fun if you have models (think at least 100) but Zardu is not particularly good at it because of the lack of Warp Charges. I can't be bothered atm with BS. Just think; 30 Horrors 4 Heralds with ML3 Your choice of Screamers. Pumps out at least 20 WC if you have Zardu. I prefer Daemonettes so you pump out around 200 to 320 points a turn. This would come to around 750 to 850. But overwhelms most standard Legion Lists. Provided you protect the Heralds. Damn. I think I addressed a small portion of your list, oh well hope it helps.
