Angrypantz Posted October 27, 2015 Share Posted October 27, 2015 I've been thinking about doing a new marine army for some time to tie me over whilst I wait for Chaos to be updated and for my Magpie syndrome to settle so that I can get a Horus Heresy army started. My track record on here is pretty bad when it comes to completed and painted models but today that changes. I present to you my first painted model in, well, years. I started with a black undercoat and then sprayed the model with the Retributor Gold, touching up areas that I missed with paint from the pot. I then completed the gold with a wash of Reikland Flesh, dry brushing Retributor Gold, Liberator Gold and finally Runefang steel. I then finished the other stuff. All that is left to do is the base and then it will be 100% complete. This is the Veteran Sergeant of the first Assault Squad. This is more than likely going to be a slow(er) blog then my last one but the fact I completed something is giving me the drive to finish more.
