Ovar Da Mighty Pupy
I have the Enhanced ipad version (updated 07.11.2013) and it has Unwieldy special rule at every reference. Also, I have noticed that many of the lists here are using Canoness with eviscerator - in my codex the eviscerator is a *ministorum priest only oprion. Is it different in other versions? On my .epub version, it says Eviscerator* * Canoness and Ministorum Priests only. Perhaps a typo, but which version is wrong? I would say that mine is wrong in this, since there is no reason why the canoness should be forbiden to take it. *Furyou Miko
Helpfully, they use how many asterisks are listed rather than different symbols such as + or ~ to delineate the different restrictions - It should be Eviscerator**. Zaemie
I have the iPad enhanced, version 1.7, 07 Nov 2013. Every mention of Eviscerator says Unwieldy, and the footnote for Eviscaertor in the wargear list is a number and states Canoness and priests. As for those versions of the codex without Unwieldy Eviscerators, this is the text directing the reader to the reference section in mine: Profiles for the following Melee weapons are listed in the weapons section of the Reference. Their full rules can be found in Warhammer 40,000: The Rules. Now with emphasis added: Profiles for the following Melee weapons are listed in the weapons section of the Reference. Their full rules can be found in Warhammer 40,000: The Rules. This overrides "codex trumps rulebook", in my opinion. Your mileage may vary, and you're welcome to that. The other interpretation seems like twisting to fit something that shouldn't be for an unusual benefit. Feels like the "technically not cheating" sort of shenanigans that I would have been ashamed to explain to my grandmother while she was still alive, which is my rubric for moral and ethical behavior.
