Karsus
Hello, I'm not sure which size magnet should I use to magnetize big walker miniatures (Knights, Contemptors, etc...). I'm considering buying Knight Warden, but I'm not sure which size of magnet will have appropriate magnetic power to hold all the 'weight' of its weapon-arms. One I used for regular Marine models (0.125 inch I believe) did not have enough magnetic power when I tried it on Contemptor... So I'm guessing it has to be much bigger than that. If anyone already tried magnetizing Knight, please share your opinion. Thanks! P.S. Also, where should I buy a bigger drill for bigger magnets? Captain General
I used 3mmx1mm for the weapons to the arms and 4mm x1mm for the weapon assemblies to the arms. You can buy drill bits at any hardware store - Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. CG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/315507-magnetizing-knight-sized-weapons-appropriate-magnet-size/#findComment-4214036 Share on other sites
