Heyhey, I just finished those for a customer. Vulkan He'Stan and Chaplain Xavier. This was the third time for me painting Vulkan. However, first time I did the finecast version and first time I did him in NMM:

Hope you like them! C&C welcome as always.

@Black_out: Thanks very much. Well, you can always hire some paintmonkey to do the NMM'ing for you. ;)

@SickSix: Cheers!

@Noctem Cultor: Thank you. :) It was pretty cool painting old Xavier for once.

If you were located in the US I wouldn't think twice :)

Foiled again! Curses upon you, geography!!

These models look fantastic! However, I must admit my ignorance/reveal my mediocre painting knowledge: what does NMM stand for?

Non metal metallic. Pretty much making things look like metal without actually using any paint that is a metallic.

And I wish I could do it.

I see both versions all the time, but I believe "Non Metallic Metal" makes more sense. But anyway. :) It's not that hard once you figured out a bunch of colours and a recipe. The tricky thing is when to stop actually. It's a bit like weathering on AFVs. And it takes very long, because it has to be done proper or rather not at all. But as with all things paintnig it's about sitting down and practicing it until you get satisfactory results. It's really late and I'd only get in a major rant about painting tutorials (especially in video form) and certain mindsets and ultimately "kids these days", so I'll just leave it at that. :D

Either way, thanks very much for the comment, BlueBelly1863!
