binary
Hey guys, with the new boxed set I thought I'd finally take the plunge into the Heresy. Now never one to do stuff straight out of the box I wanted to pick a good theme, and since I've always loved the scheme of Fulgrim's boys, I wanted to do a loyalist troop heavy list. So the theme I settled on was some of the survivors of the Istvaan atrocity, those who (for whatever reason) escaped orbit, having to abandon most of their heavier equipment on the surface. It's set at 2000 points to start with, but I'll be looking to expand it as we go along, however, since this is one of the first lists I've written, and I've not even played a heresy game yet I wanted some feedback. They call themselves the silent choir, those who remember, those who answer the cries of vengeance. HQ Legion Centurion Adresta (with palatine blades) - boarding shield, jump pack, Phoenix spear, melts bombs, sonic shrieker, Void Shield Harness Troops Legion Tactical squad (20 marines) Legion Tactical squad (20 marines) Elite Contemptor Dreadnought, Kheres assault cannon Palatine Blade squad (10 marines) - jump packs, 5 Phoenix spears Legion Terminator squad (10 marines) - cataphractii armour, 2x chainfist, 4x powerfist, 3x Lightning claw pairs, 2x Reaper autocannon Heavy Support Legion Heavy Support squad (10 marines) -volkite culverins So what does everyone think? helterskelter
I always saw sonic shrieker as a traitorous item ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/315651-the-silent-choir-the-betrayed-of-istvaan-ec-2000/#findComment-4216228 Share on other sites
