aura_enchanted Posted November 9, 2015 Share Posted November 9, 2015 my brothers a new formation is coming! and id like to share my thoughts on it: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iLdAyExTSDo/VkBStev91NI/AAAAAAAA7Jw/0SUFV0jguMI/s400/12193813_940805195955870_6345940944870139043_n.jpg http://natfka.blogspot.ca/2015/11/legion-crusade-host.html requirements: betrayal at calths entire contents +1 command squad, in addition you can have 2 additional contempor's/mortis, an extra consul, 2 extra squads of terminators, an unlimited numbers of legion squads. we can use our chapter tactics for this detachment. the bonuses: sargeants, the command squad dont pay for ANY UPGRADES (including dedicated transports due to rule vagueness), once per game all bolters (combi's, hurricanes, twin linked bolters) in this formation gain twin linked, shred and Gets hot!, obj sec. in addition your praetor can sacrifice his warlord trait (as your warlord) and instead make all his weapons master crafted (no exceptions even relic weapons) what you can do with this: quite a bit actually, you get a very strong formation here with a good dread, some terminators as heavy hitters that can pop up in a ball behind the enemy, and you can get some solid shooting from your tacticals that normally would only be reserved for sentinels of terra (cause bolter drill). its got lots of room to grow and free upgrades on sarge's n command squad means you can get things that would normally be too expensive to be practical like plasma pistols, power weapons, and storm shields, you also can get a free sacred standard for relentless grav, someone stop this formation it might kill someone! in addition our terminator sargeants no longer pay for their thunderhammers + shield putting thernators in squads back on the menu of affordability. some armies might also like this formation, be we.. we were made for this formation Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
