jedimasterwiggy
Hey all, Was looking at options for transporting seeker squads for my Sons of Horus force and I wanted to check if I was reading things right. Betrayal has a dreadclaw drop pod listed as a dedicated transport for them but this pattern doesn't have drop pod assault or heat blast. Extermination added the Anvillus pattern dreadclaw but if I wanted one of these for the seekers then I would need to use a second fast attack slow? Thanks Edit: Just realised this should be in the rules section, shortcut for it doesn't show on phone. Can admins please move when appropriate Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/315864-soh-seeker-squad-transport/ Share on other sites
Marshal Loss
The Anvillus pattern Dreadclaw entry replaced the Dreadclaw from HH: Betrayal, so the rules from the first book are invalid now. Legion Seekers in a Sons of Horus force may still select the Anvillus Dreadclaws as a dedicated transport (as well as Vets, Terminators, Justaerin, Dreadnoughts, Reavers and Command Squads), so you don't need to take one as a fast attack choice. EDIT: See page 10 in the Legiones Astartes: Isstvan Campaign Legions book. But basically, use the extermination rules, which can be taken as a dedicated transport for seekers in a SoH list.
