What do you do for units

So ive just been scouring forgeworld again. Ive also been flipping through the red books and my question is this how do you guys stick weapons like volkites or heavy bolters or stuff like that in your squads have i just been looking at the wrong models on forgeworlds site? The heavy support sqyad seems only fit for rockets lascannons and plasma cannons

Several of the Heavy Weapons sets: Autocannon, Heavy Bolter, Volkite Culverin use the same models as the Tactical Squad. The models are not called Tactical Marines, just 'Legion mk? Space Marines'. Game-wise, almost all heavy weapon troopers are confined to the Heavy Support squad.

Ok i was just wondering what models i needed to pick up because i looked at the heavy support squads and it really looks like they can onl hold plasma cannons missile launchers or lascannons

Edit; it would nice if FW had an ergonomic way of posting things, but they don't.

 

no idea if the thunderhawk still does but it used to have a drop down menu which gave it the specific doors. Should do that for 'mk x' armour which lets you pick a particular weapob set with them.

That would help so should i just assume the tactical squad of 5 guys is what i need along with the weapon set?

Yeah the standard legion kit is ment to be used with the non shoulder mounted heavy weapons. For me if u go to the heavy weapon u want the right squad for the set is below in the suggested purchase box
