Created in limited numbers in the latter days of the Great Crusade, the Leviathan pattern Siege Dreadnought was developed in secret on Terra, away from the pervasive oculars of the Mechanicum. Its massive frame incorporates hybridised technologies, some dating back into the dim past of humanity.

Towering over later Imperial walker patterns, this heavily armoured dreadnought is savagely powerful. It was designed for siege warfare and primarily armed with close combat and support weaponry that can rend buildings, vehicles and flesh alike; though it is no less effective when armed with the powerful and esoteric short ranged weaponry uniquely developed for it. The Leviathan’s oversized reactor allows it to bear weapons more powerful than other classes of dreadnought, and also powers reinforced energy fields that surpass those developed for the Contemptor class.

Power has its cost though, and the systems of the Leviathan place a lethal level of strain on the minds its occupants. Those few examples that survive in the armouries of Space Marine Chapters into the 41st Millennium are reserved for the direst of circumstances. Marines who find themselves interred within a Leviathan will pay a heavy toll; either with their life, or their reason.

The Leviathan pattern Siege Dreadnought is a multi-part resin kit. It includes optional torso mounted heavy flamers and volkite calivers, an optional Phosphex discharger and an 80mm round base. Weapon arms shown in some photos are sold separately.

That is some white white. Wasn't keen when I first saw it but now having seen some better pictures, i really like it!

Yeah, a couple of changes to the rules from the ones that were provided at the 40k Open Day. Being allowed in Talons of 1-3 and having either Dread Drop Pods of Kharibdyss as Dedicated Transports. Everything else looks the same (points, upgrade costs, statline) although I've only checked the 30k version.

A shame as I've already placed a large FW already in the past couple of days, but I suppose I could grab another 3 or so. Having put one together it's a beautiful model. It's good to see all the weapon options released at once, rather than the fear I had of piecemeal releases over a couple of weeks.

Wrong forum I know - but how does the Dreadnought Talon rule work with Dreadnought Drop Pods? If the Talon has to be deployed within 6" when they either start the game, or arrive from reserves, what happens if Drop Pod scatter takes them outside of this range? Would anyone care provided you wanted to deploy the Pods in close proximity?

Another change is four base attacks. Experimental rules

You can only select a Drop Pod for Talons of one Dreadnought. If you take 2+ then they are footslogging.

The Raven Guard one is so cool.

I literally jolted up in my chair when I saw this image. That pose is amazing and the claw and paintjob in general is very sleek. The angle of the right shoulder with the legion symbol looks off though due to the highlighting.
