Doghouse
Just a quick question for those more knowledgeable about this kind of thing than me. I'm playing around with some silicone at the moment, it says mix the catalyst 5 parts to every 100ml of silicone. It might be me being a bit dim but is that 20ml of that catalyst? Gurth
Was some kind of measure (like a cup) supplied with the catalyst? Then they probably mean that. If not, then they’re being very unclear: normally you’d say “n parts of something to m parts of something else” or “n ml of something to m ml of something else” but not a combination of the two. stinkenheim
I've had some silicon with similar instructions to this. Turns out the cap for the catalyst was what they referred to with their 'x parts' line Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316027-5-parts-to-100ml-ratio-help/#findComment-4224962 Share on other sites
