Tactics:

Terror Squads

They will all come in Turn 1 and Volkite blast some stuff, making use of Night Fightig cover bonuses to stay safe. By Turn 2, they'll charge in and finish the job.

 

Contemptors:

They'll come in Turn 2 and Target enemy vehicles with some Graviton blasts, finishing it off either from shooting or close combat Turn 3

 

Curze & Raptors:

They start on the board and go directly for the enemy's warlord or dangerous stuff (MCs etc.)

 

Damocles:

Serves as a support unit and is extremely useful in a drop pod/reserves heavy army like this. It'll prevent scatter of my pods within 24" (which is amazing) and give me some reserve bonuses to bring in my other units in reserves.

 

Xiphons:

They will harass enemy vehicles and units in cover (especially flyers and skimmers).

Tactics? Meta? Do you have a playstyle you want to achieve? What do you think you'll struggle with?

 

From what I can see, it's pretty good, but you've made a few choices I would change:

- Nostraman Mancatcher is a bit expensive. Given you have a free power weapon on the Chaplain, I'd swap it for a Void Shield Harness.

- Dreadclaws are awesome, but taking normal Drop Pods will save you 195 points. The Terrors Squads can shoot for a turn without issue, so I'd take that option. And I'd give the Headsmen Volkite chargers too.

- I feel like I say this every time I look at lists with Fire Raptors or Storm Eagles: don't take Hellstrike missiles, as they're Ordnance weapons (same goes for laser destroyers on Spartans).

 

Damocles and the Contemptors are great choices. Night Raptors are also great, but you will need extra anti-tank, so maybe add 3 meltaguns?

 

Pretty much the army I'm building towards, so all-in-all looks good! :)

-Thanks! I didn't realise Terror squads could grab normal drop pods, you've saved me nearly 200pts!

-I might be wrong, but I believe they changed the profiles of hellstrikes to heavy

-I might look into meltaguns on the Raptors with the points I've saved

-I did give Volkites to my headsmen
