Not New Mastadon pics aka Mastering your don..

My favourite part is that there is an ATM in the background of the photo, almost as if Forgeworld know you're going to need more cash and have started carting one around with them.

Can guarantee they charge you for withdrawals...

It's not new, in fact there is a pissing contest over at natfka over where people saw it first.

So is the top gun anti-air?

From what i remember the top gun is AA and may be redisgned to be unique not just two assault cannons (profile and model).

2 void shields

40 man intended capacity

Prob AV14 with a frontal invuln.

This was all stuff i posted into the open day thread and all based on what the modeller wanted from it. These were not official or even in the works rules. Just hopes and dreams of a resin sculpter.

So presumably Twin linked (super?) Kheres in an AA mount, 2 sponson flamestorms, and a pqir of lascannons, magna melta.

10 Firepoints, 2 access points, possibly including space for a box dread in the rear capacity only.

Rumours when wrecked it becomes a building, and with 3 Void Shields, presumably Armoured Ceramite, Flare Shield and AV14, it is hard as nails. Guessing 6 Hull points to be taken as 1-3.

Shooting wise, it is lacking, but better than a Spartan. Going by marines size, that is 30+ capacity.

Multiple squads in each (as a super heavy). So... How do you price something like that and keep it useable?

400pts, it is Spartan plus for virtually nothing. 500pts and you are at Fellblade level, and not worth it.

Maybe like 385 points before upgrades?

I'm imagining it having a 5++ like the Warlord or Stormbird as back up. I don't know why they want to make it super awesome against buildings...like there are a bunch of heresy things designed to obliterate buildings, but no one takes any, which sorta defeats the purpose.

Pretty sure the AA cannons on top are a variant of the Icarus Stormcannon, considering they have 3 barrels, each the size of an autocannon huh.png

And the forward weapons are just heavy flamers, not flamestorm - although I think there was some mention of them being able to sweep over the hull to clear off enemies, so they may get some kind of bonus against assaulting infantry.

The third barrel on the Magna-melta makes me think it'll gain a boost too, possibly to do with breaching fortifications.

Is it a Super Heavy?

If so at least I can transfer multiple units...

It looks ok, but it's a bit cluttered and chaotic compared to the typical Imperium designs...

If it is a super heavy it won't have to be as heavily armoured as a Spartan. Enough hullpoints will probably allow it to get the job done.

Ya that confused me as well, most marine tanks are based on the rhino or land raider (even the sicaran I could argue is a midway between the two). The design of this tank though is completely different, very interesting.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rules for this monster transport.
