Kroeger - Angel Exterminatus

MK III, I believe he used a sword at one point to near the end.

Turns out he did in fact just use a chainsword although no doubt he had more than that in his arsenal, I would presume the sword is in reference to a chainsword near the end rather than and actual sword.

Just gave the book a scan read...cant find a mention...there is something on heavy plates of ceramite and looking through his visor but thats all i kind find at the mo..

Forrix is mentioned as cataphractii and torimino has mkiv...

Heavy ceramite and "visor" would lead me to believe either mkii or mkiii (would have assumed mkiv would be lenses)...as he is scaling a citadel wall in the beginning, would mkiii be to heavy for that kinda thing..

Will read abit more thoroughly later ;-)

I would imagine he has a paragons blade chainsword, similiar to Loken ^^

I see no reason why there shouldn't be, but when I think 'Paragon blade' I think power weapon. Do they really make (in univerese) paragon blade chainswords?

yeah ^^ Loken has one, and you could say Ragnar's frostblade (in 40k) is another example for that ^,^

I think MKIII suits well his character and protects against the high probabilities of shrapnel from the front lines. Thanks for the help ;)

And Khârn the bloody with his chainaxe.

Ok reading Storm of Iron, it seems that Kroeger used a chainsword and a "heavy set of dark iron armour" so MK2-MK3 will do it, unless he has added so much weight to a set of MK4. A mix would probably sort that out!

Thanks for the info!

This cements the partchwork armour idea, I am currently fishing for armour bits in my spare parts ;)

You can't really use Kroeger's 40k armour as a good example, it has changed a fair bit since the Heresy. I don't mean the Mk, I mean ...

it becomes sentient and changes it's shape to accommodate a new wearer.

And of course the fact it's been 10,000 years, and he's been living in the Eye, with a bunch of guys capable of producing their own armour so he probably has something not seen in 30k.

It was just used to find any information about what he might ware.

As for the sentience, well that was not exactly down to the armour and more the.. lovely warp thing that wanted Kroeger's lovin'
