*Sigh*

Last night I ordered the dual praetor kit from Forgeworld.

Then, this morning, this happened:

I haven't read the night lords librarian short story but did someone say they binned him post nikea? It's my understanding that the night Lord's vanish after obliterating nostromo 20 years prior to istvaan so 17 years prior to nikea so how did they get the memo and why would they care?

Their chief librarian was sent to Terra as part of the Crusader Host and the short story is just a series of flashbacks that walked him there; his youth, what he did with his powers, and how he challenged Sevatar's authority.

So him being "binned" is highly dependent on when the Crusader Host was formed, not Nikea.

Also in Thousand Sons it is mentioned that the 1k sons sent emissaries to three (I think) legions to teach librarians. White Scars were one, and I want to say Salamanders and Emperors Children or Blood Angels. Many other legions had some form of them already growing like the Dark Angels and Alpha Legion. Overall though, the fluff is so contradictory in reference to equipment, training, and markings for librarians that we can basically do whatever we want (besides having deathguard librarians).

White Scars, Thousand Sons and Blood Angels were the three Legions responsible for sponsoring the Librarius program. It was mentioned they sent out "emissaries to Legions such as the Iron Warriors as part of a cultural exchange in the hopes it would motivate the establishment of a Librarius coven, but some Legions, such as the Wolves, flat out rejected the idea.

EDIT: I should point out that their idea of a Librarius coven was a much more regiment and integrated component of Legion society. Until then, the Librarius was basically "you are psykers so you will stay here out of the way until we need you." with variations occuring on a Legion by Legion basis. So it wasn't an effort to create an actual Librarius so much as to create an universal system. Like the metric system.
