Helias_Tancred
I've used GW's Purity Seal for a few years and it seems to only get worse with the frosting effect? So what replacements do some of you use that produce better results? A couple days ago one of the guys I was teamed with sprayed his Imperial Fists with a satin varnish or sealer and it actually looked decent. Matte vs. Satin, I think it comes down to personal preference on a little shine, but they did look nice and uniform. I also have some Vallejo matt varnish in a bottle (wish they made it in a spray lol). I use it for spot details, I usually don't brush an entire miniature in it. So what replacements have you had luck with? Thanks all :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316373-replacement-for-purity-seal/ Share on other sites
Bartali
Gloss varnish - Pledge Multi-Surface Wax. Comes in a big bottle and dirt cheap. Military modellers swear by it Matte and Satin - Vallejo, and yes you can get them in aerosol form if you want.
