Black_out
Like the title says, just wondering if there's a written source of the audio books out there somewhere, released by BL even? I much prefer a physical book in my hands vs an audio one. I personally am lulled to sleep whenever I try and give these a listen and I really want to complete the thus far completed portions of Lokens story. Thanks for any help! Rob P
There are 2 called 'The Scripts' and 'The Scripts II'. I don't think they include the latest Knight Errant stories. BL have promised to produce all stories in all formats at some point. There is a Garro 'novel' coming out soon which I speculate could be a collection of prose versions of the Garro stories (but it could also be a brand new novel). Corswain
Keep in mind that they are transcripts of the audios and are written as such. And as far as I know, only available in the collectors edition. Olis
Well, damn. I did have the answer to this but I'm far too late to be useful here. Rob P has the right of it. Jareddm
All of the audio shorts (minus Garro) were also released in Legacies of Betrayal. Rob P
Sorry to be pedantic but that is not quite true. It catches a lot of the audiodramas but it misses a few non-Garro ones that have yet to be put into print. e.g. Raptor, Master of the First, Herald of Sanguinius, The Long Night, Templar and the Loken one on Caliban to name the ones I can remember Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316420-written-versions-of-audio-books/#findComment-4234924 Share on other sites
Black_out
And of course the Garro ones are those I'm most interested in! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316420-written-versions-of-audio-books/#findComment-4234973 Share on other sites
Jareddm
Then i have to be pedantic in response. :P The Loken story on Caliban is a Garro story and is already covered in volume two of the scripts. And Legacies of Betrayal is still a tremendous chunk of material that people were complaining for awhile was unavoidable to those who didn't want to listen to audio. Of course the book's release was immediately attacked by everyone who had bought the audios, complaining that there was no new content... Rob P
Haha, touché! Yep, it's right that a lot of the audiodramas are in Legacies of Betrayal in prose. The Dark King and The Lightning Tower are in Shadows of Treachery. I did mean prose when speaking of the 'Loken one' and I didn't recall Garro being in it, but I listened to it a long time ago so I am probably wrong - so there!
