HarasinCreed
Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows of any successful conversions of space marines riding cold ones. I heard that the cold ones are too small for space marines and was wondering if anyone had any alternative ideas/general advice? Note: Im not wanting to put scouts on cold ones Thanks Edmund Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316576-space-marines-riding-cold-ones/ Share on other sites
Aqui
Here is my Rainbow Warrior Chaplain riding a Cold One (counts-as bike): Forgive the poor images (I really need to take new pictures), but it's fairly easy to do. My Chaplain has Space Wolf TWC Marine legs Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316576-space-marines-riding-cold-ones/#findComment-4238737 Share on other sites
Halandaar
Personally I think they're a bit small, but using the Dark Elf Cold Ones rather than the Lizardmen version might help as I believe they look a bit bulkier (not to mention less goofy). Aqui
I chose the Lizard race one for the Aztec style head, but you're right - the Dark Elf one would probably be better :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316576-space-marines-riding-cold-ones/#findComment-4239086 Share on other sites

The Lizardmen ones and their various accessories do fit well thematically with Rainbow Warriors. Carlson793
And always remember: though a Space Marine on a Cold One may look goofy, it's a good bit less goofy looking than its real world counterpart... http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/08/20/article-0-149C5C5D000005DC-634_634x430.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316576-space-marines-riding-cold-ones/#findComment-4239336 Share on other sites

Noctem Cultor
In all honesty full power armour marines look to big on cold ones, the old metal carnisaur on the other hand is almost perfect size wise. Google has plenty of good examples of both cold one types and carnisaur with Space marines on them. Quixus
Unfortunately the carnosaur is a tad pricy. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316576-space-marines-riding-cold-ones/#findComment-4239632 Share on other sites

ChromeZephyr
I'll try and get a picture of my Chaos Marines on the DE version tonight. It's still a bit goofy size-wise, and it's a nightmare to get them looking good... my pics will assuredly show, as I've let them sit for quite a while rather than finish them because I got so frustrated trying.
