Polished up my void lion rules a it c and c welcome

 

 

Background : based off British warfare through the ages very infantry heavy

 

Primarch: Horatio Corleonis

 

Colours: bright silver with red shoulder guards and a blue lions head motiff

 

Specialisation : ship to ship Void warfare, infantry heavy ground warfare backed up by light artillery fire

 

Special rules:

A model armed with bolt type weapons ( eg bolter heavy bolter etc) may fire one extra shot than normal at the cost of -1 bs

 

Maybe a rule that allows legion weapon batteries to be taken in squadrons of 2?

 

Must take an extra compulsory troops choice

 

May only take one fast attack choice

 

 

Special units :

Heavy support

The Highlanders : close combat specialists that wear void hardened mark three armour and wield huge two handed power swords

 

Claymore power sword

S+2 ap-2 two handed unwieldy

 

The longbows (name not final):

 

Fast attack choice that can be taken as non compulsory troops in row

Recon marines that use specialist sniper rifles that get better the closer the enemy is thinking maybe rending that gets easier as enemies close in

 

Longbow pattern sniper rifle

20-30 " rending (6+)

10-20" rending (5+)

<10" rending (4+)

 

Consul

Artillery master

Must be attached to a legion weapon battery squad and they benefit from his bs

Okay. Looks good for a start, but you are on the wrong board mate. I like the highlanders. But if you are aiming for british, why has you primarch a latin name?

 

This is for the alternate timeline icarion insurrection. The standard special projects would fit better.
