Stezza
Hey guys, one of the pins on my drop pod door has broken and the door is now loose and able to fall off. The rest of the pod is glued together. Any tips on how to repair without pulling the whole thing apart? Thanks, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316593-broken-drop-pod-door/ Share on other sites
Brother Dallo
Do you still want the doors to open and close? If not, just glue the door back on. If you do, it's a little more tricky. Pictures would help, if you want a more detailed answer. Corswain
Tough without disassembling. Magnets maybe? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316593-broken-drop-pod-door/#findComment-4239241 Share on other sites
Halandaar
Maybe you could add magnets where the pin used to be? Seems like the solution that involves the least butchery. Grotsmasha
Magnets are the only real solution with disassembling the pod. I'd recommend replacing both pins and a third on at the top to hold it closed. I'd recommend 2mm or 3mm diameter with 3mm depth, as it's the depth that give magnets their strength.
