SGK Posted February 4, 2016 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Seconded the old skool red is very nice to see, perhaps you could use terracotta for a base and work up for the destroyers? Grav cannon looks meaty and the "racing" stripe breaks up the gun shield nicely. I've not got anything on hand but I seem to recall that the Crux has always been a mark of veterancy failing that a skull symbol also does a good job and is carried on over to the post heresy blood angels. keep up the good work i am enjoying this Plog Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Morngrym Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Well, I have a few comments... I'll start with the tank - the weathering is just enough without going overboard. The legion number and wing/tear-drop emblems on the sides are spectacular. It is amazing how a couple small sections like that can really make a vehicle pop. On to the tactical squad - again, I like what you've done with these guys. The scrapes and gouges on the armor look really nice. I think this is the first BA squad I've seen with the new shoulder pads. Keep up the good work! You are actually getting things done quickly in my view (but I'm a slow painter, so I guess its all perspective!)... Edit: Forgot to add - the sarge looks awesome! The use of the 40K-era torso with the rest of the heresy gear makes this fellow look like one bad dude.
