Imperial Fists 1,500 pts

I recently bought the betrayal at calth box and with some tweaking I have the following as a 1500 point list.

 

HQ

Praetor: Combi melta, paragon blade, cataphractii armour, pride of the legion

 

Centurion: Chaplain, artificer armour, plasma pistol.

 

Elites

Contemp dread: assault cannon, powerfist, plasma blaster.

 

Apothecary.

 

Troops

10 man vet tac squad: sgt with combi bolter, power fist, artificer armour, 2 x heavy bolters

 

10 man vet tac squad: sgt with combi bolter, power sword, artificer armour, 2 x missile launchers.

 

5 man cataphractii term squad: sgt with chainfist, 1 x other chainfist, 3 x powerfists, 1 x heavy flamer, rest combi bolter.

 

Heavy support

Sicaran battle tank with lascannon sponsons.

 

I still have a rhino, landraider and 1 x 10 man vet tac squad still too build. All commets welcome.

Seen as though you're planning on running Imperial Fists, can I suggest you use your 10 guys as a Heavy Support Squad with missile launchers? You'll need to get more, but they get free Tank Hunters so it's worth it!

 

I'd do 2 squads of Vets with heavy bolters (and pick Sniper), as they really shine with Fists too. Again, you'll need another heavy bolter, but they'll be super easy to get now. You have 1 Rhino, but a second will be nice to cart around the Vets around (with the 2 HB's firing out of the top).

 

You could make the Terminators into a 4-man Command Squad, so they and the Praetor fit into that Land Raider.

 

Might need to drop the Apothecary and Chaplain as they'll be stuck on their own, but it'll still be a decent use of the BaC box! :)
