furstyferret
Hi folks, I'm due to play the Forlorn Hope strategic raid mission from HH4 tonight and had a question. Under the High Alert special rules it says "Whenever one of the Defender’s units is completely destroyed by an enemy unit, it is immediately placed into Reserves instead of being removed from play". I assume this includes the defender's praetor/centurion as well. Is this still the case or has there been a clarification in one of the later books? Hesh Kadesh
If an independent character is attached to another unit, it is considered a part of that unit for all intents and purposes. So yes. shandwen
Well a independent character is a distinct unit. So there is no need to connect him with a squad for that bonus. Dono1979
the more important question is whether any single use abilities attached to that unit are replenished when they go back in to reserve? Obrital Bombardments Missiles Hunter Killers etc Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316870-forlorn-hope-mission-question/#findComment-4269611 Share on other sites
