Lord Blackwood
So apparently I am getting Khârn's model for Christmas so I am trying to figure out what to build out for a 1500 Zone Mortalis force we use Rites so I figured World eaters might be a fun deviation from my Templar driven Imperial Fists , this is what Im looking at just by tossing stuff together , I would appreciate it if some of the more knowledgeable would help me tune it better. +++ Bleeding the Enemy on his own Ship (1500pts) +++ ++ Legiones Astartes: Crusade Army List ((Zone Mortalis) Attacker) (1500pts) ++ + HQ (190pts) + Khârn the Bloody (190pts) [Legacy of Blood] Master of the Legion [beserker Assault] + Elites (900pts) + Apothecarion Detachment (195pts) Legion Apothecary [Artificer Armour, Power Sword] Legion Apothecary [Artificer Armour, Power Sword] Legion Apothecary [Artificer Armour, Power Sword] Legion Veteran Tactical Squad (315pts) [Furious Charge, 9x Legion Veteran Space Marines, Legion Vexilla, Melta Bombs, 4x Power Weapon] Legion Veteran Sergeant [Artificer Armour, Plasma Pistol, Power Fist] The Red Butchers (390pts) [6x Butcher Terminator, 2x Pair of Lightning Claws, 4x Second Power Axe] The Devoured [Chainfist, Power Fist, Second Power Axe] + Troops (410pts) + Legion Tactical Squad (205pts) [9x Legion Tactical Space Marines, Legion Vexilla, Take an additional Chainsword or Combat Blade] Legion Tactical Sergeant [Artificer Armour, Melta Bombs, Power Weapon] Legion Tactical Squad (205pts) [9x Legion Tactical Space Marines, Legion Vexilla, Take an additional Chainsword or Combat Blade] Legion Tactical Sergeant [Artificer Armour, Melta Bombs, Power Weapon] + Legion + Legion Astartes [XII: World Eaters] Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316964-world-eaters-zone-mortalis-1500/ Share on other sites
Slips
I'd avoid 20 man blobs in ZM. Makes for hard times moving them around the cramped space. Lord Blackwood
you think maybe drop them down to 15 dudes ? Id still need a lot of attacks to drown people in yea? Slips
Not necessarily. 10 Man Units with Extra CC weapons and Apoths should be all you need, really. with 15+ man squads, their footprints are so big that they're liable to get shot from everywhere as well as charged and might slow you down more than anything. I'd take min Tacs with CCW and used the points freed up for maybe a Vet Squad with FC and a Few Power Weapons or something Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316964-world-eaters-zone-mortalis-1500/#findComment-4247741 Share on other sites

Slips
Khârn would most likely run with the Vets or Butchers. Dont pigeon hold him to a squad though. Decide that prior to game start and what your opponent is fielding. Allart01
Squad can't be composed by more than 15 models in ZM. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316964-world-eaters-zone-mortalis-1500/#findComment-4247892 Share on other sites
Lord Blackwood
aye nice catch , I put together a slightly different list a little further down though it almost seems like its too straight forward ? Run at enemy , cut enemy to peices Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/316964-world-eaters-zone-mortalis-1500/#findComment-4248109 Share on other sites
Slips
Fits the World Eaters just fine ahahah If you want some variation you could add in a Contemptor and use the Attacker ZM FoC for no compulsory troops.
