Ghost Riders - DIY White Scars Successor

So in between the 5 million other projects I have going on, I have decided to start a DIY White Scars successor chapter. I don't have a ton of info for them yet, however, the inspiration came heavily from the song Ghost Riders in the Sky, Firefly with just a touch of Mad Max: Fury Road.

Color Scheme:

Company color will be on the left knee pad. Sergeants will have a chrome helmet. Vets and Commanders, etc will also have a chrome arm instead of white. Lots of chrome on the bikes and speeders.

Chapter symbol:

Fitting with the Western theme, all bolt pistols will be bolt revolvers (from Anvil Industries):

And for those without helmets on (from Puppets War):

Also some good fantasy skulls from Tabletop Art that would be good for mounting as trophies on bikes.

Just got a box of bikes, so I will be doing some mock ups soon. Background wise, their home planet is very American West themed. Think Firefly-like planets.

I thought about the WWX bikes, but their riders are positioned differently so I don't know if the Marine models would fit easily. I will still try to look into it. On the other hand, I'm thinking of using this one as my Chapter Master (from Scibor):

Also Outrider bikes from Forgeworld:

The out rider bikes actually aren't that bad. A set of three cost 45 pounds. Only works out to about $20-$25 more then a box set of regular bikes. Not to make the whole army with them but just throw a few in it's not bad.

Well, I needed to get and test some chrome paint first. This is a chrome laquer spray by Alclad II. I think it looks pretty good. I'll go with this.

They'll ride to battle with this.

EDIT: Well, can't get the embed code to work, so you can see the music video on YouTube.

Nice cover version. It's Yippee-I-aye, yippee-I-o

The flaming skull heads from Puppetswa could be a good match too, maybe too chaotic though.

Put it on a librarian in a spell casting pose.

Are you sure about that? That's what I always thought, too. But no, oh/aye is correct. Check the original.
