I'd say, make it a little more expensive but make the weapon twin linked biggrin.png

Also... ASSAULT CANNONS!

Well, I did not add the assault cannon because it would make the Heavy Bolter rather redundant.. BUT, a Twin Linked HB by default, replacable by a single Autocannon at 5 pts sounds good to me. Unit edited ;)

why not just use landspeeder rules?

Because Landspeeders are vehicles and this works like an Attack Bike?

fair, I guess it just didn't seem to be far enough in battlefield function and answers to it to warrant the separate rules

that being said, your hobby

I think the unit itself may be a little overcosted though, as it is basically an attack bike with worse than skilled rider as an add on and different weapon options.

Interesting, though I have to ask why it has a 2+ armour save?

Because it's better armored than an Attack Bike..  I wasn't sure how to represent that; Basically my idea was an armored buggy with a driver, someone riding shotgun with a boltgun in hand, and a turret mounted heavy weapon in the back.  This probably doesn't warrant a 2+ save, I suppose.  Maybe W3 instead?  Not that difficult to wound, but lasts longer than an Attack Bike?

Yeah, that's the ticket. Great idea, and I'm tempted to convert one - maybe even make it look a little like a puma.

Are you referring to the Warthog from 'Halo'? Or do you actually want to make it resemble a big cat? (I would be cool to have a Space Marine vehicle look like it was part of Voltron, but the modeling skills necessary to perform this customization, are far beyond me.)

A UNSC Warthog is how Appiah originally visualised it. However, I think the image I linked of Luca Pacioli's "Attack Bike" is growing in him :)

Yes, I was thinking of a 40k style Warthog, and attempting to express myself by way of an old RvB joke. :)
