Its specifically designed for taking out super heavies such as Titans. The only real weakness is if you dont get 1st turn and there is no hard cover in your deployment zone. Lord of War Perturabo HQ Legion Centurion Legion Centurion - Master of Signals Damocles Rhino Troops 2 units of 10 Tactical Marines - Nucio Vox - Rhino Elites Contemptor Dead - Twin Assault Cannons - Missile Launcher 10 Tyrant Siege Terminators - 2 Chain Fists 3 Rapier Carriers - Quad Mortars Fast Attack 2 Lightning Primaris Fighters - Each has 6 Kraken Missiles - Tank hunter and strafing run Heavy Support 2 Sicarian's - Lascannon sponsons Deredo Dread - Automatic Pavaise Perturabo joins the terminators and deep strike in On turn 1 I roll for reserves on a 3+ Hopefully the terminators and fighters come in Drop down D3 S9 AP 2 large blasts, D3 AP3 large blasts and 1 S9 AP 2 Lance large blast Use the sicarians and dreads to take out any void shields Fire 8? or 12? S8 Armour bane, tank hunter BS5 missiles from the fighters Fire 20 S8 Tank Hunter BS5 missiles from the terminators Fire 12 S8 Sunder Missiles from the quad mortars. Feast on your opponents tears. At 4k this list gets even more ridiculous as you add in: 10 Iron Havocs with missiles (the master of signals will go here giving BS5 tank hunters and -1 to cover) Another Contemptor Another unit of 10 tactical marines in a rhino 1 Typhon Siege Tank Also if you get world burner (should not be too hard with rolling 2 dice and getting a re-roll for WT) then just laugh as you proceed to vaporise whole squads. Hell, even terminators will feel pain with just the volume of shots coming in. The only things that can go wrong are: 1) Not getting 1st turn and losing the command rhino which increases the chance of things not coming in at the same time 2) Your terminators and fighters dont come in at the same time, you fail to kill the titan and then get shot at by a D-weapon...but your terminators are standing next to your deredo dread for a 3++ right? :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Slips Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Of you want cheese at 3k, you take Perturabo, a Siege Breaker, 1-2 deredeos and as many Tyrants you can cram in.
