veterannoob
Blood of Asaheim The Death of Antagonis Wrath of Iron Faith and Fire Hammer and Anvil Commissar Ahriman Series Baneblade Daemon World Anything by Dan abnett and ADB Horus Heresy everything Graham McNiell's trilogy priest of Mars... Adeptus Mechanicus novels by Rob Sanders I know the above from your list are good. Other BL 40k (have you tried the old world fantasy, even though that line isn't supported anymore?) Night Lords trilogy Lord of Night Deathwatch by S. Parker Overfiend ....hmm, don't have my collection with... I can say the Sisters novels are great. Just interviewed James Swallow for next podcast episode on Women in Wargaming and his books and interview make want to rush out and collect handfuls of metal models;) The stuff my Chris Wraight is also pretty universally good. Good luck, man, and let us know how you do. Knight of the Raven
I can say the Sisters novels are great. Be prepared to find each antagonist more interesting than the whole Adepta Sororitas cast combined though. Not to mention Miriya interprets orders too liberally for someone who's been brainwashed into following orders and never asking questions since childhood, which is what sisters of battle are. Midgard
Out of the BL books the OP listed, the below ones seem to have the generally universal acclaim (or rather favorable reactions): Wrath of Iron (I liked it) Ahriman series (I really liked the first book, thought the second one took a while to get going but was good at the end, and am yet to read the third) Daemon World (I have not read this one, so cannot comment, but all reviews seem to be very positive) These books tend to get mixed reviews, but I personally enjoyed them: Blood of Asaheim Malodrax The Death of Antagonis Salamanders series Blood Gorgons (from the Bastion Wars series; I have not read others from the same series) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317165-which-books-are-worth-my-time-and-money/#findComment-4253162 Share on other sites
Rob P
I personally liked Imperial Glory and the first 2 Macharian Crusade books (not read the last one). Also, a big fan of the HH series and GG series. I'm not generally a fan of 40K Space Marines. As a bit of a curveball I can recommend: Dr Bloodmoney - P K Dick Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317165-which-books-are-worth-my-time-and-money/#findComment-4253912 Share on other sites

Apothecary Vaddon
Last Macharius novel ended pretty abruptly but provided an interesting close to the legend of Macharius. was supposed to die against Richter, one of his former generals, but in true form, he won that battle too. The legend of Macharius lives on, even if he was killed by an agent of the Officio Assassinorum... Rime
Planetkill is worth a mention. It features prequel stories for Gunheads and the Bastion Wars. Gunheads wasn't a bad read. Something different if nothing else. Brothers of the Snake and Titanicus if you can find them. Someone mentioned Lord of the Night if you like Nightlords. Best read it before reading the Nightlords trilogy. And the Throne of Lies audio was good too. Gaunts Ghosts omnibus (The Founding, The Saint and The Lost).
