Join ussssss!!!! We've got murder duels and flaying pits! No cookie though.

I'm pretty excited for the new book. It's eighth after final season, it's in the same month as my birthday, and it contains more row for me to play. What's not to love?

I'm waiting so I can get the right army vibe for my Dark Angels...because at this point they're a wild card compared to WS bike spam, or BA jump pack/fast attack spam.

I'm hoping WS won't just be biker spam as there really is so much more to them and the books I think have really shed a lot of light on them. Think Chris wraight has done a great job with them

White Scars should have some pretty wild psykers, since they were full-in on Magnus's Librarius research, and treated the Nikea proclamation with even more contempt than the Thousand Sons or Space Wolves did.

After reading both Brotherhood of the Storm and Scars, I have to disagree.

The Scars are about control. They may have embraced the Librarius, but the Scar librarian (forgot his name and too lazy to look up this late) repeatedly said that the Thousand Sons acted recklessly in their abilities.

Atleast that was the vibe I got

I agree with WLK but I do think they should be different when it comes to psykers much like the space wolves as opposed to actually having their own lores.

Yes, I remember the analogy he made with a man being offered a poisoned-looking goblet by a stranger (Tzeench?) promising great power and knowledge if he drinks it.  The Thousand Sons Librarian would greedily gulp down the whole bowl without a second thought, being reckless as they are.  The Space Wolf Rune Priest would presumably kick over the bowl and try to kill the stranger, being dicks as they are.  The White Scars Stormseer, always polite and never reckless, would take a single sip from the goblet, thank the stranger, and go on his way.

New Iron Hands rite of war : Flesh is Weak!

Restritions : no fleshy allies, for they are weak. No cover saves allowed, as using cover is second on the weakness chart, gar behind flesh.

Advantages: at the begining of the shooting phase, choose a fleshy enemy unit. Iron hands shooting at it rend on a 6, and gain prefered enemy while shooting at it.

Weakness seeking ammo: enemy units that use a cover save get a -1 modifier on the roll.

I  pray for a Rite that  makes the Templars the Focus of the fists T n T   I want a stabby stabby rite of war with extreme emphisis on stabbing

I think its hard for the fists cause if stone gauntlet is the super defensive rite then how do you get more defensive than that?  Mandatory fortifications with bonuses I guess ?

I  obviously have my own Bias  toward Templar things but in reality if these  new rites will focus on the later half of the heresey Id imagine fists would get something to either represent the action  on mars and clensing of the sol system ( TEMPLAR STUFF BOYS ) or a hyper defensive one to represent them setting up on Terra

I dunno just tossing ideas around.
